Emily Procter

 

American actress Emily Mallory Procter was born October 8, 1968. She was Ainsley Hayes's character in The West Wing, a NBC political drama (2000-2002 and 2006), and Det. Calleigh Duquesne on the CBS police procedural drama CSI: Miami (2002-2012).



 



 Early life



 Procter was born on October 8 of 1968. William Procter, an obstetrician, adopted her as an infant . He also adopted Barbara Jones, a volunteer worker. Procter was raised in Raleigh. After her parents divorced, she was just three years older. Whit her older brother, has also been adopted.



 



 Procter went to Ravenscroft School in Raleigh. While at East Carolina University, Procter became a member Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Procter worked as a television anchor on news for WNCT in Greenville, North Carolina. She eventually graduated with degrees in journalism dance.
