Angelica Panganiban, a Filipino American model and actress who also works as a television hostess as well as a comedian. Panganiban (also known as The New Queen of Drama) is considered by various media outlets to be one of the Philippines most experienced, versatile and experienced actors. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston placed her on ECMO, a life-saving intervention. It was not until her kidneys recovered that she could be saved after she developed an infection with septicae and eventually was diagnosed with multiple organ malfunctions. It was then a routine of hemodialysis followed by peritoneal dilution. Her return home was finally made after an eighteen-day stay in the hospital after a time when she was near death to the long road back to health. The way she lived her life was forever changed. Angelica underwent dialysis treatment for more than a decade and half years before receiving her kidney transplant. Angelica would be receiving the donated kidney from her mom. Angelica Hale was able to undergo a kidney transplantation along with her mother on the 13th of September, 2013. The procedure was conducted at Emory University Hospital, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale, a young teenager from Atlanta, who always wanted to be an actress and singer she is still working toward the dream.
